NSGDP
Nuclear System Ground Data Processing
For nearly two decades, Ktech has applied its leadership in information systems and technologies to support the Nuclear System Ground Data Processing (NSGDP) project, primarily through the development of data systems that support global nuclear burst identification. Ktech’s data systems are vitally important to national defense and cover the full life cycle from raw data collection to final reports for the United States Air Force (USAF). Ktech Corporation has a staff with directly applicable experience in all phases of data systems project programmatics and technical execution. With the average Ktech employee tenure well in excess of four years, Ktech has proven itself to be a stable entity in acquisitions from the early pre-acquisition phase through authorization to proceed (ATP) onto full operations capability (FOC). As part of this acquisition process and others, Ktech provides full documentation services, operations manuals and training.

Ktech-engineered NSGDP satellite software works with Defense Support Program (DSP) and Global Positioning System (GPS) ground stations. The DSP is a system consisting of non-imaging infrared sensing satellites in geostationary orbits and associated ground systems. Ktech’s software obtains raw data from the satellites and converts it into reports for the USAF.
We provide operations and maintenance support to the NSGDP project to enhance military operations, providing field support, management, training, and new capability integration. Our engineers and technicians schedule software updates, and analyze and correct problems detected in the ground station software. Ktech provides major design enhancements related to new sensor capabilities and antenna technology. Additionally, we train the Ground Station System Engineers, and our personnel work closely with them on operational issues.
Ktech’s team supports on-orbit tests, providing data analysis products and analytical expertise in resolving data streams and improving data quality.
