NASA LDRI Documentation
Project: LDRI Orbiter Inspection System
Customer: NASA, Sandia National Laboratories
For NASA, we developed all the documentation for the Laser Dynamic Range Imager (LDRI), a laser radar (LADAR) device designed and produced by Sandia for U.S. Space Shuttle program, as part of NASA’s Return to Flight project after the Columbia disaster. The device provides 2-D and 3_D images of the Thermal Protection System on the Space Shuttle Orbiter.

- Did requirements mapping, tracing each part or function back to its requirements
- Wrote quality, manufacturing, and test plans
- Managed the documentation system
- Wrote ground-station procedures
