| General Summary |
Provide direct support to the corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to administer the company's security program for DoD and DOE classified contracts. |
| Description/Duties |
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compliance with NISPOM and DD 441
- Preparation of VARs (Visit Authorization Requests), via JPAS or manual process
- Providing guidance to executives, program managers, and staff on security related matters, including briefings, training, security clearance processing (e-QIP):
- Reviews all security paperwork for accuracy, completion and submission via the e-QIP system;
- Instruction to employees to ensure completion of security paperwork;
- Status reports on clearance applications to manager and applicant;
- Accurate record maintenance for all security documentation and files in accordance with DSS, NISPOM, JPAS, and DOE requirements;
- including and especially, maintaining a current and accurate SMO database in JPAS.
- Monitor compliance with security training programs for the company; may be tasked with developing and presenting security awareness materials company wide and/or select groups within the company
- Assist ISSM with weekly system audits and apply patches and updates to classified information systems
- Maintaining a working alliance with the contracts office for:
- Obtaining SOW/DD254s/CSCSs to review when requests are made for employee clearances;
- Review of SOW/DD254s/CSCSs on active contracts; preparation of DD254s in the future.
- At the direction of, or in concert with Corporate FSO, recommends updates to the company security processes, writes or edits security policies/procedures and prepares written reports of surveys and inspections for DSS audit and documentation requirements.
- Management of classified materials
- Conducts internal audits, self-inspections at prescribed intervals
- Serves on alarm system call team (24/7)

| Education/Experience |
- 1-5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- High School diploma required

| Training Required |
- Satisfactory completion of mandatory FSO courses within 6 months of hire
|
| Security Clearance |
- Ability to obtain a DoD (Top Secret) and/or DOE (Q) security clearance is required
