Ktech Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is looking for motivated self-starters to join our growing software development team. We are an innovative group of professionals solving exciting and diverse customer challenges in areas such as, simulation and modeling, process control, laboratory automation, and Web-based business applications. We work in cooperative and collaborative project teams combining expertise in engineering and software development.
We are looking for skilled software developers to work with customers and team members through the entire project life cycle to:
- Assist customers in defining their requirements.
- Create iterative designs that cover emergent requirements.
- Develop SharePoint sites including forms and workflow development
- Develop Java based applications for either desktop or web-based applications.
- Attend client meetings and participate in demonstrations of working applications.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing applications.
- Meet both team and individual task deadlines.
- Work in a team environment on one or more projects work independently on individual tasks.

| Education/Skills |
Experience with the following technologies is required:
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 7.0 (MOSS)
Writing desktop applications using Java/J2EE
Creation and manipulation of XML files
Use of Eclipse RCP and EMF for developing Eclipse based applications
Understanding of OO concepts, use of UML and design patterns such as DAO, Gateway and Service layers.
Experience with the following technologies and methodologies are highly desired:
Interfacing to C++ applications using the Java Network Interface (JNI).
Use of Swing or SWT for creating GUI interfaces.
Writing SQL queries.
Application development using an Agile development methodology such as Scrum or XP.
Experience using a Test Driven Development approach.
Working with Java on both Linux and Windows platforms.
BS in computer science, engineering, or management information systems preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of Java development experience required
